Creative Programming-We offer creative programming that works in conjunction with educational services and the mission of the schools.
Services to youth requiring a more intensive level of individualized services that are at risk for residential placement or homebound instruction.
Integration of our services within the education system and support its programs and services.

Individual goal setting with the opportunity to practice skills and achieve the goals necessary for school and personal success.
Individualized service plans developed from an assessment of each child’s needs that focuses on their treatment goals.
Group time which including work on social skills and peer relations. Groups may consist of anger management, conflict resolution, self-esteem building, impulse control, and behavior management.
Activities including the use of therapeutic treatment groups, psycho-educational group sessions, and specialized individual counseling.
Individual counseling occurs once a week or more as needed includes education related to medication management specific to each child.
Parent/Guardian involvement, twice a week staff communicates with parents/guardians, to discuss youth progress, family concerns, and any need for additional services.
Case management coordination and wrap around services are an integral part of Clinical Alternatives Therapeutic Day Treatment Program.

Recommended services are 8 hours/week for 3 months (Length and hours of service may require adjustment based on individual needs of the family)
Adjunct Programs: Psychological Testing, Adolescent Sex Offender Program, Women and Families with HIV/AIDS, “Buddy” Program, Respite, Friendly Visitors Supervised Visitation Program, Individual/Family/Group Therapy, and Consulting

Treatment decreases risk of re-offense
Community safety is paramount and is in the best interest of adolescent offenders and their families
A team approach between the offender, family, court services, child welfare, clients’ support persons, and therapist are critical to successful treatment
Sex offender treatment is cost-effective
The earlier treatment is provided, the greater the likelihood of preventing continued offending
Sex offender treatment is different from traditional therapy, and therefore, providers should be certified in order to ensure appropriate treatment for sex offenders
Psychosexual Assessment - Completed by a Certified Sex Offender Therapist to interview offender and the parents to consider the risk factors, assess youth’s defenses, and make recommendations for the best possible treatment outcome while ensuring community and client safety.
Diagnostic Assessment - Completed by the family therapist within the first thirty days. This is a comprehensive social history that supports and complements the intake screening assessment. Emphasis will be on assessing the adolescent within the family system.
